To me this is the finest picture (and idea)sofar...

...to play with the holy holy ART in the garden of KM is a nice possibillity. It gives a usefull contemporary relativation on the works of ART (from the passed century...!)
and gives powerfull identity to a new mentality today.

We could use this concept as a theme for all participent... Choose an Artwork and create an AR relativation...

Alrik again: theme 'practicalities'

Wearing the AR helmet seems most interesting to me. But as there are only 2 of them, that probably doesn't work.
Walking around with laptops might not work either - apart from sunshine and/or rain issues - how many laptops would you need with thousands of visitors? Where would you get those? How do you protect them from theft? Etc.
So we end up with some projection on a large screen? Or....?
Can we 'decide' on 'practicalities' first before we start discussing ideas, which may later turn out to be impossible due to 'practicalities'?

This is Alrik, abusing Stepahn's account
(I do not remember having received an email from Pawel).

Thinking of Kroller Muller I have 3 sculptures in mind:
1. that enormous big blue trowel (Claes Oldenburg)
2. the Needle Tower (Snelson) tower we discussed last week
3. the Jardin d'email (Dubuffet), or what it is called that

Nr. 1 Could be combined with lots of garden gnomes with small blue trowels in their hands. This links a bit to the idea of a human form Stephan was referring to.

Nr. 2 Replace parts of it, one by one? (Have to give this more thought.)

Nr. 3 Color it like a Mondrain painting.
___

Another idea would be that people walk around and above their heads will appear their favourite and least favourite sculpture. This invites people to talk about their preferences. The overall sculpture score could be shown on a big central screen.

CU at 17.30!

Dear All,

I was wondering if we could choose a general theme for our project. As sculpture is one of the things that is very much related to human size and the human form in general, I thougth we might choose some sculptures and put on the screen bigger or smaller humans. for instance, the swan could be accompanied by a giant or a tiny person. But also other human size related objects could be projected. There is this sling with a huge boulder in the parc. It would be interesting to project either a grown up lying next to it, or maybe a baby or something. This can make people aware of the meaning of the size of sculpture and the reference it has to the human form.

Greetings

Hello Pawel,

Yesterday I took a look in the Kroller Muller book. I believe there are more interesting places for the stairs.

Actually I don't know anybody who makes animations with kind of "avatars" which can walk over stais. Maybe Wim knows somebody.

At the moment I am working on a game with a little bird who is jumping on objects. We could use this but I am not very advanced and I know I need help to make this work. But in this case the visister is de bird itsself and can walk over the stairs.

Best regards, Lies

I know where these stair are, only I don't think it's in the same area as the event itself... I mean, of course it is a part of the Kroller-Muller park in general, but not every spot will be used on July 11.

Another problem is we have to find somebody who could do the modelling/animation. Do you know anybody who can help you/us with it?
